What is your photography style?
Defining my style is always a bit of a challenge, as it's constantly evolving! I like to position myself as a happy midpoint, gravitating towards warm, soft tones. Capturing genuine emotion and real moments is at the core of what I do. I'm a dedicated light chaser; for me, the impact of light lies at the heart of crafting truly magical photographs.
In terms of my practical approach, I spend the day people-watching, incorporating elements of a documentary style to capture those authentic belly laughs and tears of joy. Simultaneously, I'm actively engaged in ensuring we make the most of your couple portraits. Opting for prime lenses over zoom lenses keeps me intimately involved in the moment, contributing to my overall style as a photographer.
Are there any additional costs?
No surprises here – I believe in transparency. There are no hidden costs; travel expenses, for instance, are not charged separately. If you wish to include an additional photographer in any of my packages, it's a straightforward addition of £450. The only time an extra cost comes into play is if the wedding venue is over an hour and a half away from my location. In such cases, I kindly request overnight accommodation the night before the wedding – nothing lavish, typically a Premier Inn or equivalent.
Are you insured & do we get a contract of services provided?
Yes! I have full comprehensive photography insurance & public liability insurance.
I send the contract along with your invoice upon booking.
Is a second shooter an option?
On request, a second shooter can be arranged for an additional £450. Opting for a second shooter can bring valuable advantages. While I can't be in two places simultaneously, having an additional photographer ensures diverse angles and enhanced coverage of your guests. Rest assured, all images are meticulously edited by me in my unique style before being seamlessly integrated into the final gallery.
